Blue Jade Glass Knob in Antique Style
These knobs and pulls are an intriguing blue –green color the French call “trompe l’oeil” In changing light it either appears more blue or more green.
When people think of jade they usually visualize a beautiful translucent to opaque green stone.
Jade color can actually vary in its hues of ranging from; pale to forest green, amazing shades of reds, oranges and yellows, the extremely rare violets, white and black, to the fascinating shades of blue that imitate the depths of the oceans.
Glass knob with chrome plated machine screw that slides through center of knob and is held in place with a chrome plated nut.
This knob was originally part of a "bad run" which means the colors didn't match what we wanted. But it's a beautify nonetheless as seen in the additional images from Vintage Refined in Chicago!

The bolt (2-1/2") that comes standard with these extends beyond the back of this glass knob 1-3/8". A 2" bolt is available near the bottom of the page, often used with the smaller glass knobs, in order to have less bolt protruding out the back.
