Polished brass modern mounting ferrule for glass knobs replaces the old authentic "bolt" in the glass knobs without changing the outside appearance of the knob, and does away with the "nut and bolt" protruding from the knob on the inside of the cabinet or drawer. The holes in our knobs and pulls are consistently sized to accept these units. Knobs and pulls from ALL other makers are not monitored by us for consistency, and we do not guarantee a fit for any knobs but our own. Knob will now use a 5-32 threaded knob screw. Connector comes with 5-32 x 1-1/4" screw to fit standard 3/4" door or drawer front (making knob equivalent to modern knobs that come with standard 1" screw). Order Breakoff screws Separately. item number C1306-53245BRKZPK The 5-32 X 1-3/4" bolt is made to break at 1", 1-1/4" and 1-1/2" to fit all four sizes of knobs. Connector has approx. 3/8" head and is 7/8" long. To determine the length of screw you need for cabinets that are thicker than 3/4" add 1/2" to the total thickness of the cabinet and that will be the size of the screw you need to go along with the ferrule.
