Updated Wholesale Policies

Thank you for helping us transition smoothly!

1. Wholesale ordering now requires an account and a log-in.

The new system offers a better interface for your order history, payment options, tracking your orders, and makes your wholesale price visible while you browse. The coupon system was cumbersome on both ends so we think you will be very happy with the new system and it's efficiencies will allow us to keep our prices as low as possible.

Once everything is set and running smoothly wholesale accounts can look forward to more discount levels, better spread for DLH resellers, and overstock pricing only visible to wholesale accounts.

2. We will no longer be figuring the shipping prices for marginal orders.

We apologize for the ending of this service, however over and over we would find ourselves doing 20-30 minutes of back and forth customer communication in order to save $1.25 for the customer. We can easily save you that dollar by becoming more efficient and keeping our prices low. And, one thing we hate is pushing costs onto other customers, which this policy was surely doing.

Wholesale accounts with marginal orders (orders that are cheaper using our retail pricing and free shipping option) can be placed by simply not logging in ahead of your order. Normal retail polices will apply, your order will ship free, and your order details and history will STILL BE SAVED in your account as long as you use the same e-mail address.

3. Please select "Dealer Shipping" from the shipping drop down for now on.

4. No more Facebook Log-ins.

This was a legacy feature that Yahoo forced us to include. This effects only a few accounts. We apologize, but we prefer to have Facebook out of our business. :)

*For the time being, your wholesale prices are not showing in the floating cart, only on the main checkout cart page. This should be remedied fairly soon and has no effect. You will see clearly your discount in the main cart and billing/shipping page.
We are closed on Monday for the Labor Day Holiday celebrating the working class and the great achievements the working men and women of America have accomplished together. We are back on Tuesday shipping full steam ahead. Orders not placed by Friday at around 1pm will not go in the mail until Tuesday. The post offices are closed Monday anyway, so it won't be more of a delay than absolutely necessary on our end. Have a great weekend!

Olney, IL. Chamber of Commerce

D. Lawless Hardware is located in the small Midwestern town of Olney, Illinois. Surrounded North, East, South and West by Interstate highways, all an hour's drive away (that's 50-60 miles out here in the sticks for you city folks who drive an hour to work), I like to joke that we are "centrally located in the middle of nowhere". We like it here and we think you would too. Olney has great schools, a junior college, a hospital, 2 industrial parks, 3 recreational parks, a good-sized lake for fishing, boating, and an abundant water supply, a small local all-weather airport, and lots of fresh air and room to breath it. Like all small towns, we appreciate all our local industries, but are always actively seeking growth. So, if you or your company is considering new site locations, please check us out.
