D. Lawless Hardware is a division of D. Lawless Companies. It began in 1984 importing hardware for the thriving cabinet making industry in the tri-state corner of IL, IN, and KY. After building tens of thousands of cabinets and wholesaling probably a million of them hardware became the mainstay of the business as furniture production moved overseas.
D. Lawless Hardware has nearly 2,000 of it's own products and carries in store and in stock over 8,500 hardware products including but not limited to knobs, pulls, hinges, slides, hooks, screws, fasteners, and wood trim. Furniture manufacturers, home builders, and small craft producers are our main clientele. The majority of this business is eCommerce, although many of the local builders use our hardware.
D. Lawless is a Master Distributor for Liberty Hardware and a licensed dealer for Amerock, Top Knobs, Atlas, and others.
D. Lawless Companies also includes D. Lawless Books, D. Lawless Contractors, and the now defunct Tru-Vex Glass which was very well known in the glass industry in it's time.
