The majority of orders ship by USPS Priority Mail. Packages weighing less than 15.9 ounces will ship First Class. Packages weighing 16 oz or more will ship via Priority Mail (2-3 days delivery to most of the United States). If the package is large, heavy or bulky, we will ship via UPS Ground. If shipping carrier other than our choice is requested, additional charges may result.
If package is returned to us due to address issues or no USPS delivery at the location, customer is responsible for the cost of shipping for us to ship again.
Other shipping methods and upgrades such as Next Day Air, Overnight, 2nd Day, 3 Day & out of the country delivery will be billed to you at cost of shipping plus $5.00 for special handling. This will not show up on your order when you place it. This is determined by weight and is added to your bill in our offices. For Expedited shipping you must place a comment stating you want expedited shipping and call our service department at 618-395-3945.
Overnight and other express methods are given priority, but we still must have time to process your order, so the upgraded service you choose takes effect after processing time.

Effective 26 March 2020 we suspended the UPS Service Guarantee for all shipments from any origin to any destination. For all U.S. origin shipments, the Service Guarantee suspension became effective as of 24 March 2020.
Effective 5 April 2021 the UPS Service Guarantee will be reinstated only for UPS Worldwide Express services (UPS Worldwide Express Plus, UPS Worldwide Express, UPS Worldwide Express Saver, UPS Worldwide Saver, UPS Worldwide Express Freight Midday and UPS Worldwide Express Freight). The Service Guarantee remains suspended for all other UPS shipments from any origin to any destination..
As the effects of the Coronavirus impact our infrastructure, we will continue to seek guidance from local, state, and national government entities to ensure that we fully align with their regulations. We are committed to continue operating globally except where constrained by government restrictions.
Returns cost money. We think it is best to charge the responsible parties so that we can keep our prices low to everyone. Companies don't "absorb" costs, they pass them on. When you buy from a company that has no restocking fees, you pay for any frivolous returns that company handles, indirectly, through higher prices.
If we have done something wrong or sent defective merchandise, it is all on us. You get your money back including shipping and handling.
If you decide to return items for any reason other than their being defective, you will be responsible for outgoing costs and return shipping. Our minimum cost to process and ship an order is $9.99. You will be charged a minimum of $9.99 or a 15% restocking fee, whichever is greater. Our helpful staff will make charge determinations as objectively as possible based on individual circumstances. If there is a dispute, please remember that you catch more flies with honey. It is very hard to come to a fair conclusion if we don't each remain cordial.
If, however, you had an order under $50.00 and paid the $9.99 Shipping and Handling charge when shipped, there will be no additional restocking fee as we will simply keep the shipping and handling fees already collected. We believe this to be a reasonable accommodation for small orders.
Three things to consider...
- If an order is refused and returned to us, all shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.
- Restocking fees may be cancelled by taking advantage of our exchange policy below.
- Shipping and handling are not refunded. You are responsible for return shipping cost.
The Returns Process
- Contact us for a Return Authorization Number (RA) by phone at 618-395-3945, or by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Make sure the RA Number is large and visible on the package being returned. (Packages without an RA will be refused)
- Good must be received within 30 days of receiving your RA or they will be refused.
- Return requests after 60 days will be denied.
Additional charges may be added for goods returned in unsalable condition. Products removed from original packaging may be considered unsalable.
Please order carefully. Note all measurements and descriptive information before ordering. If important information is not stated, please call us at 1-618-395-3945 or email sales before ordering. Look at the largest picture of item, click until it fills your screen. If you think we need to publish a better picture, please let us know and we'll get right on it. Returning an item because it doesn't fit or look as you thought it would on your cabinet is expensive and time consuming for the both of us. We must charge you to cover part of our costs in processing.
Our intention is to encourage a responsible purchasing and return activity. A responsible and considerate relationship between us and our customers allows us to offer quality merchandise at the best prices.
You can avoid restocking fees by taking advantage of our "swap" or exchange policy. If you discover that the color, style, or some other aspect of the product you received will not work for you, give us a call or e-mail us. Let us know what you wish to return and what you would like to order in exchange. We will bill you for only what your new purchase cost plus our direct cost of shipping. No packing or handling fees apply. No restocking fees apply. When your return arrives here, we will credit your account with your full original cost. (does not include opened or unsalable items or the original cost of shipping and handling if any).
Internet shopping is pretty convenient, but you cannot hold the pictures in your hand, feel the weight, or for that matter know the exact coloration because your monitor will not always display the same colors as ours.
Let's face reality, samples cost money for the item & for the shipping & handling. We could either say it is just the cost of doing business and add this overhead to the price of our products, or we can simply charge those who require samples. I prefer not hiding these costs in the product you are buying. That said, here is how we will handle samples:
You may order one of each of up to five items for samples by placing a regular order on the store site and entering the word "samples" in the Comment Box.
You will be refunded approximately half of the normal shipping and handling cost by way of a $5.00 discount during processing.
Samples are nonreturnable, as they are not worth handling and shipping twice for either one of us.
You must ask for this discount in the Comments Box on your order form when ordering samples. Call-in sample orders are not eligible.
Sales taxes are charged only for shipments to Illinois addresses at the present time.
