Our Antique Style Glass Knobs are all hand pressed just like the original glass cabinet knobs that your great grandma used. The knob colors are created to match the samples of old antique glass knobs that we personally furnished to the makers . These glass knobs are as authentic as possible , including the bubbles and slight variations that one sees in the original antique knobs and pulls. No machine made perfection in these unique additions to your décor!
Likewise, our Period and Classic Glass Knobs and our Octagon Cut Glass Knobs are made in hand presses and not by machines. These pressed glass beauties require further glasswork involving class cutting, grinding and polishing. The knobs may also require the maker to apply a hot metallic flash to create an iridized (carnival glass) effect, or affix a metal base for mounting.
