Storing Furniture Hardware

Storing Furniture Hardware

We deal with a lot of furniture professionals that buy a lot of hardware and need a place to store it.. One of our best customers is Roberta from Eastern Shore Chic. She recently sent me a photo of how she keep all her hardware in her workshop and I thought it was pretty nice and worth a share.

Roberta does over a piece a day and needs hardware on hand! She has clients that want to pick out there hardware and she sends them our way, but she also has clients that want her to pick or just want something fairly simple and straight forward and then she uses her stash.

From Roberta herself concerning the situation...

"Oh my gosh the worst part is just because it has a knob on the outside doesn't mean that's what's on the inside that means that's what the color is on the inside of multiple kinds of hardware. I don't own jewelry. I own hardware."

Then we have Dana at Boltax Design Studio who is a BIT more organized! And I love to see the drawers filled with D. Lawless products! Thank you Dana! You can see Dana's work all over our website as she's used tens and tens if not a hundred of our products over time.

And some others...she maintains that she's not as organized as she looks...but being a messy person, I know this is hollow self deprecation and all her stuff is neat and tidy as far as we messy people are concerned!! lol!

Next up is Kim at Furniture Rescue who used to run be a hardware store so it was easy for he! Not fair!

And then we have a fun little stack of drawers from Laura at Clark's Vintage Market & Furniture Restoration! I love to see modified cabinets and folks that make something nice to look at out of whatever they've got around. Those are some very cool old drawers she's repurposed there and I recognize a lot of hardware from our store!

And finally for those that aren't quite as organized, we had Jenell from Painted Therapy share her messy storage area! Whatever works for you!
