D. Lawless Hardware hardware ships USPS for most of our orders. Hardware is heavy and we have a great local post office. This provides us the best deal and fastest shipping. We load our mail directly onto the big USPS mail truck heading to the distributor every day at 3:30 pm. Nothing can be faster than this that we've found and the flat rate boxes allow us to ship a lot of weight affordably.
Without this option we would likely have to have a higher free shipping level because of the weight.
Almost every order (barring rare minor hangups) ships within 24 business hours of the order being placed.
